Ms. Małgosia was born in Poland. She was an average student and describes herself as a wallflower. When she was 12, her parents won a green card and decided to move to the United States, where they worked hard at a cleaning company. After moving, Ms. Małgosia had to quickly learn the language and adapt to her new reality. Before leaving, she was full of fears and wondered if she would find any new friends there. She was quite shy and had only one real friend in Poland. After moving, she quickly felt confident in her new place. After a few years, she was one of the most popular people at school and received a scholarship for her exceptional results, which allowed her to go to medical school. In Poland, I would never have dared to dream of becoming a doctor with my grades, admitted Małgosia. On the one hand, the education system was easier there, she admitted, but there was something more to it. In the US, I became a completely new person; I discovered ambition in myself, but I was also more open and sociable. Looking at her horoscope, I smile. My client’s horoscope, set to her current place of residence, is much more favorable. The ascendant changes here to a fire sign, which strengthens her self-confidence and assertiveness.

Another example is a well-known athlete from Poland who is a regular client of mine. She has a very strong horoscope in her place of birth and has won all competitions in Poland many times, placing first. After leaving for competitions in the US, she hits a wall. She tried to break through for several years in a row. It was as if my strength had left me in that place, and no matter how good my results were before the competition in Poland, I was unable to repeat them at the competitions there. In her horoscope in Poland, many favorable planets are at the top of the chart, strengthening her perseverance and popularity, but unfortunately this is not the case in the United States.

Another client has a problem with moving. She has been moving from city to city her whole life. She can’t settle down anywhere, as if something is constantly pushing her away. Sometimes it’s external factors, other times she decides that it’s not the right place for her. In most of Poland, she has difficult relationships, and her romantic relationships are also unfavorable there. Using astrocartography, I can see that there are certain places, relatively close by, where she can find peace. She has been living in one of them for five years and feels that she will put down roots there permanently. She even met her future husband there!

Sometimes there are places that are less safe for us. When analyzing the horoscopes of famous people, this can often be seen in examples of accidents that happen to them outside their place of residence. One of my clients was robbed in her own bungalow while on vacation in the tropics, where her Pluto was located exactly on the IC. (Strong stress, aggression, feeling of danger at home).

When we move or go to a new place, our horoscope changes.

The planets remain, of course, in the same signs and degrees as at birth, so the basic traits of our character and tendencies remain.

What changes is where these energies are realized and whether we have access to them.

For example, in your birth chart, you have a very strong Mercury, responsible for your thought processes, and thus you communicate easily, have language skills, and generally have no trouble thinking logically.

Let’s assume that Mercury is in your sixth house at birth. In general, this means that your Mercurial talents will manifest themselves in your daily work and routine.

It is possible that your thoughts will be mainly preoccupied with the organization of your daily life, but also with health and hygiene issues. Your profession will often be related to communication or healthcare. The sixth house is traditionally considered a house of decline, which means that we will not have full control over any planet located here, and its power will unfortunately be weakened.

The sixth house itself was the house of slaves in ancient times, which today means more work that has to be done but does not bring us any glory or benefits greater than mere survival. Isn’t it a shame to have such a strong Mercury? So what can you do about it?

Well, you can, for example, go to an astrologer for a relocation service. Depending on what you want to achieve, what you are missing in your life, you can strengthen certain areas by moving, or even by simply interacting with the culture or business contacts of your individual places of power.

Using the example of a strong Mercury (e.g., through its sign and contact with a benefic planet) but weakened by its position in a falling house, I can check the place where the same Mercury will be on the MC line.

The MC is the highest point in your horoscope, the place where you are visible in society, where honors and career are possible, or at least your chances of being noticed and appreciated increase significantly. The MC is one of the so-called four axes of the horoscope, and it is mainly these elements that Astrokartography seeks to strengthen when guiding someone to a new place. However, the fact is that the more you travel, especially to places on your power axes, the more potential you will be able to activate and realize. This, in turn, will enrich your life through colorful and multidimensional experiences of the best in you.
